How to Make Stupendously Healthy Milkshakes

Usually, milkshakes are made of milk, fruit syrups, fruits, and ice cream. There are different types of milkshakes, that vary in flavor, taste, color, and ingredients. This drink is served in tall glasses, along with toppings. In some regions, ice cream is not used in milkshakes. However, this cold, thick, and sweet beverage is very popular, and is easily available in almost all restaurants. You can prepare milkshakes at home without much difficulty.

Vanilla Milkshake

This milkshake can be prepared with cold milk, vanilla ice cream, and vanilla extract. In order to prepare one glass of vanilla milkshake, you need a cup of cold milk, a tablespoon of vanilla extract, and four scoops of ice cream. Blend these ingredients in a blender, till the mixture becomes smooth and fluffy. Pour the milkshake into a tall glass and serve. You can go for a whipped cream topping or any other topping of your choice.
Chocolate Milkshake
A glass of chocolate milkshake can be made with a cup of milk (can be replaced with chocolate-flavored milk), four scoops of vanilla ice cream, and three tablespoons of chocolate syrup. All you have to do is to blend the ingredients in a blender, till you get the desired consistency. Add your favorite topping and serve.

Fruit Milkshake

Fruit milkshakes are more healthy than the other types. You can use any fruit of your choice, like banana, strawberry, or apple. Even a blend of fruit juices can make a tasty milkshake. In case of fruit milkshakes, you may avoid ice cream, as regular consumption of ice cream is not advisable. Frozen fruits are better for obtaining a thicker consistency for the milkshake.
For making strawberry milkshake, you need a cup of milk, a cup of vanilla or strawberry ice cream, two cups of fresh strawberries, a cup of light cream, two tablespoons of honey, and some crushed ice. Blend all the ingredients till it becomes smooth and fluffy. Pour into tall glasses and serve with toppings. This recipe yields four glasses of strawberry milkshake.
Oreo Milkshake
In order to prepare this milkshake, you need ten oreo cookies, half a cup of milk, and four to five scoops of vanilla ice cream. Blend eight oreo cookies and ice cream, in a blender. The remaining two cookies can be used for decoration. Use a small amount of milk, to make the mixture smooth and fluffy. Add enough milk to attain the desired consistency. Once done, pour the milkshake in a tall glass and serve.
